Legal
Terms, privacy, subscription, payment, and responsible use policies.
These legal terms apply to the use of Inventrify, available at https://www.inventify.in, as a paid retail inventory and POS SaaS product for Indian businesses and users.
1. Terms of Service
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between Inventrify and the person, business, shop, organisation, or other legal entity that accesses, registers for, subscribes to, or uses the Inventrify website, software, dashboard, inventory tools, billing tools, invoice tools, barcode tools, payment integrations, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing the platform, purchasing a subscription, or using any part of Inventrify, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these legal terms. If you use Inventrify on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business.
Inventrify provides operational software for retail inventory management, point-of-sale billing, stock tracking, barcode generation, invoice generation, sales summaries, and related shop-management workflows. Inventrify is not a marketplace, seller of your goods, payment bank, accountant, tax advisor, legal advisor, or statutory compliance provider.
This electronic record is generated for an online service and does not require any physical or digital signature to be valid where permitted under applicable law.
2. Accounts, Eligibility and User Responsibilities
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information while registering or maintaining an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all business details, product details, stock quantities, SKU values, barcode values, pricing, customer details, tax identifiers, invoice contents, sales records, and payment information entered into Inventrify.
You must ensure that your use of Inventrify complies with all laws applicable to your business, including tax, consumer protection, product labelling, invoicing, accounting, data protection, employment, industry-specific, and local business laws.
You must promptly notify Inventrify at contact@inventify.in if you suspect unauthorised access, credential compromise, incorrect billing, security issues, or misuse of your account.
3. Subscription, Billing, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Inventrify may be offered as a paid subscription service. Subscription fees, billing periods, available plans, features, taxes, and renewal terms may be shown on the website, checkout page, invoice, order page, or other subscription communication.
Subscription fees are billed in advance for the selected billing period. Unless otherwise stated, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, levies, payment gateway charges, and other government-imposed charges.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Inventrify and its payment service providers to process the applicable payment for the selected plan. Failed, reversed, disputed, or delayed payments may result in suspension or restriction of access.
Subscription cancellation stops future renewal or future billing, but does not automatically provide a refund for the current or past billing period.
All successful subscription payments are non-refundable. Exceptions may be considered only for duplicate charges, failed transactions where money was debited but service was not activated, demonstrable billing errors, or refunds required by applicable law.
Inventrify may modify pricing, plan limits, billing cycles, or available features. Material pricing changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law or separately agreed.
4. Payment Gateway and Third-Party Services
Inventrify may use Razorpay or other third-party payment service providers to process online payments, cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, or other supported payment methods.
When a payment is processed through Razorpay or another provider, your transaction may also be governed by that provider's terms, privacy policy, settlement rules, chargeback rules, refund processes, and compliance requirements.
Inventrify does not store full card credentials or banking credentials unless explicitly stated. Payment providers may collect and process payment-related data necessary to complete transactions, detect fraud, meet regulatory obligations, and provide payment services.
Inventrify is not responsible for outages, declines, holds, settlements, chargebacks, bank delays, payment method restrictions, or other issues caused by payment gateways, banks, card networks, UPI systems, or other third-party providers.
5. Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing
Inventrify may collect and process personal data and business data that you submit or generate while using the platform, including account details, name, email, phone number, business profile, customer details entered by you, product data, billing data, invoice data, subscription records, support communications, IP address, device details, usage logs, and security events.
Inventrify processes data to create and secure accounts, provide inventory and billing functionality, generate invoices, process subscriptions, provide support, detect abuse, maintain records, improve product performance, comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and communicate service-related updates.
Where consent is required under applicable data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Inventrify will rely on consent or other legally permitted grounds for processing. You may contact Inventrify to request access, correction, update, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or grievance redressal as applicable under law.
You represent that you have the authority and lawful basis to upload or enter customer personal data into Inventrify, including customer names, phone numbers, addresses, invoice details, or other customer information.
Inventrify may share data with service providers strictly as needed to operate the service, including hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, email/support tools, analytics tools, and payment processors. Such providers are expected to process data for service-related purposes.
Inventrify may disclose information if required by law, court order, regulator, law enforcement authority, tax authority, payment network, or to protect rights, safety, property, security, or enforce these terms.
Inventrify will retain data for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup, audit, fraud prevention, and legitimate business purposes. Deletion requests may be subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Data Processing and Security
Inventrify uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect accounts and data against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, or loss. No online system, network, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
You are responsible for maintaining strong passwords, controlling user access, using trusted devices, reviewing account activity, and ensuring that business personnel use the platform responsibly.
You must not attempt to bypass authentication, test vulnerabilities without authorisation, overload the service, introduce malware, scrape non-public data, or access accounts, systems, or data that do not belong to you.
If Inventrify becomes aware of a security incident affecting your data, Inventrify will take reasonable steps to investigate, mitigate, and notify affected users or authorities where legally required.
7. Cookie and Tracking Policy
Inventrify may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, support security, analyse usage, and provide core application functionality.
You may disable cookies or storage features through your browser settings; however, doing so may prevent login, dashboard access, billing workflows, or other parts of the service from functioning correctly.
Third-party services used by Inventrify may also use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You may not use Inventrify for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, harmful, infringing, or unauthorised activities.
You may not upload content that violates intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual obligations, consumer protection laws, product safety laws, or applicable regulations.
You may not use Inventrify to sell, invoice, promote, or manage goods or services that are illegal, prohibited, restricted, unsafe, counterfeit, or otherwise non-compliant with applicable laws.
Inventrify may suspend or terminate accounts that appear to violate this policy, create legal risk, harm the platform, or misuse payment services.
9. Invoice, Tax and Accounting Disclaimer

10. Intellectual Property
Inventrify, its software, design, workflows, user interface, code, documentation, brand elements, logos, and service materials are owned by or licensed to Inventrify and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these terms and payment of applicable fees, Inventrify grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service for your internal business operations.
You retain ownership of business data, product data, customer data, sales data, invoice data, and other content entered by you, subject to Inventrify's right to process such data to provide and improve the service.
11. Service Availability, Changes and Beta Features
